Four minutes and thirty-four seconds beneath the Moon’s shadow, on a stretch of Mediterranean coast most travellers have never considered. Private hospitality, curated stays and exclusive viewing — arranged entirely around you.
You come to Melilla for the eclipse. We arrange everything else.
Travel, accommodation, transfers, dining, culture, viewing position and the hours either side of totality. One point of contact, one plan, one arrival. From the moment you land or dock, nothing is left for you to organise.
Planned in advance — Itineraries built months ahead, when capacity still exists.
Handled on the ground — A team in Melilla on the day, not a call centre elsewhere.
Answerable to you — A single named contact from first enquiry to departure.

The shadow has passed
The total solar eclipse of 2 August 2027 has taken place. Thank you to everyone who joined us in Melilla.
Counting to 10:48 CEST on 2 August 2027, the moment totality begins over Melilla.
The event
One destination. One morning.
On 2 August 2027 the Moon’s umbra crosses the Strait of Gibraltar and sweeps east along the North African coast. Melilla sits inside the band of totality, and holds it for longer than almost anywhere else in Spain.

Durations for Spanish cities inside the band of totality. Ceuta records the longest; Melilla is a close second, and combines its duration with an island-like sense of separation from the crowds expected on the mainland coast.
Schematic — orientation only, not to scale.
The band of totality is at its widest here — up to 258 km — as it leaves the Atlantic, crosses the Strait and continues over North Africa. Melilla lies within the southern portion of the band, not on its centre line; the difference costs a few seconds against Ceuta and nothing against the experience itself.
Timings, duration and solar altitude for Melilla are taken from the Instituto Geográfico Nacional, the official Spanish authority for eclipse predictions. We publish their figures unmodified.

The rarest option
Totality at sea
Leave the coastline behind and meet the shadow from open water. A privately chartered vessel, a position chosen in advance, and an uninterrupted horizon in every direction.
Each is a starting point rather than a fixed package. Every element can be added, removed or rebuilt around your group.
Private
Couples, families and private groups
A complete stay built around two to a dozen guests: premium rooms, private transfers, a reserved viewing position, dining arranged nightly, and a concierge who knows your itinerary before you do.
Travellers expecting the highest level of personal service
The private programme with a dedicated host attached to your party for the duration, top-category accommodation, exclusive-use venues where they can be secured, and a photographer to record the morning.
Clients, partners, executives, boards and incentive groups
Group logistics handled as an event rather than a booking: arrivals coordinated across flights and ferries, accommodation blocks, branded hospitality, private venues and a production team on the ground.
A member of the team will reply personally, in writing, usually within one business day. If your dates are tight or your group is large, say so in a reply and we will move faster.
